Luke!
Our computer is really acting up as of late, so I apologize for not updating the blog sooner. It has been awhile. As you can see, Luke has taken to sleeping in some weird positions. Hey. . . when you are tired, you are tired!

Luke and his Thomas the Train Adventure!
Luke and his Daddy
Luke didn't know what to think of Sir Topham Hatt

Stationmaster Luke
Mae really hasn't learned any new tricks. She is growing like a weed and getting chubby, which gives mom lots of comfort and relief. What a good baby she is. We are very fortunate.
Luke narrowly avoided having a seizure on Saturday when Thomas the Train and Sir Hopham Hatt came to the Baldwin City train depot. Papa Lee and Daddy joined Luke in this two hour adventure. Papa Lee shelled out quite a bit of doe on Thomas merchandise, including a new lunchbox and several toy trains, a stationmaster hat and a cool t-shirt. Life has been pretty good for Luke this weekend.

Week One
Well, I think Ry and I produced an Angel Baby (knock on wood). She is a great sleeper and eater, and mom couldn't be happier. She really doesn't have a lot of tricks yet, mostly eats and sleeps. She will smile when I say her name sometimes. Luke is acting out a bit, but not towards his sister. He really is quite gentle with her. Ry is smitten with her, it didn't take long for her to put him under her spell. We are having a great time. . . so far!

She's Here!
Mae has graced us with her presence. She was born on Thursday afternoon at 2:08 PM. She weighed in at 7 pounds, 3 ounces, and measured 19 1/2" long. Labor was uneventful. Mom did have some problems with her blood pressure, but everything checked out just fine. Big brother has accepted her into the household and has offered to help out with any dirty diapers. Here are some early shots of Mae and her big brother. More pictures to come as we get settled in this week.

At last! Our son is potty trained!
Luke completed his "Poo-Poo Chart" this past Thursday. Unfortunately, daddy was out of town and didn't get to witness this momentous event. Luke had to go poo-poo on the big boy potty 20 times in order to recieve the 20 stickers that filled out the chart. As a reward for completing the chart, he got a giant cement mixer truck. He loves it. We are very happy to have this behind us before the new baby arrives. It hasn't been easy.
