Groundbreaking

We have plenty of new photos to post, but have been a little busy to get it done. We'll try and get those up in the next few days, especially those of Mae's 2nd birthday. In the short-term, here's a picture from grandpa's groundbreaking ceremony (thanks, Carly). Mae and Luke are pretty funny.

Jenny Spends more Time on Facebook....

Which makes it difficult to update this blog. That and we're busy. Things are settling down. We're in our house, the kids are in school, and Luke is playing soccer. T-ball is up next. We have great neighbors and feel right at home. A few pictures from the last month or so...

Mae with her first egg on Easter morning. We're great parents - allowing Luke and Mae to enjoy candy for breakfast.

Luke as serious about the egg hunt. He wanted to be sure he found he majority of eggs, and that he got to keep them. It was at this point that he tried to convince me that he should have a few more eggs from Mae's basket because one of her eggs was larger than any he had collected.

Mae wearing Luke's underwear and holding his "clone trooper gun." That's daddy's girl.

And one last one... an action shot. Luke running away from the ball and the coach. I can't help but be proud. On a high note, Luke did put one in the goal during the 2nd game of the season. T-Ball is up next.

Luke and Mae enjoyed their time living with Grandpa Lee

Santa at The Henry Ford

Luke with the Batmobile

Daddy, who is this weird guy, and why am I sitting on his lap?

All is ok. . . I found my thumb and have my blankie

We took the kiddos to The Henry Ford (a fabulous museum if I do say so myself), to let Santa know that we would be back in Kansas for Christmas. Luke was very concerned that he wouldn't know where to leave his presents. Mae could have cared less. They were displaying costumes from famous movies that we all grew up with. We saw the Wicked Witch of the West's hat, The Terminator's black leather jacket with bullet holes, the Batman costume George Clooney wore in one of the remakes AND last but not least, Darth Vader!
